1. What specific aspects of pop culture could be seen in the movie?

At first, it is a film made by the movie director, Jullian Jarrold. A Broadway musical version of the film is currently in the works, with producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig and helming the project. The movie has the main story about fashion, especially, boots. At the last scene, we can see the fashion show that can show us their products to the audiences. These can be aspects of pop culture in this movie.

2. Which aspects of the movie could potentially be unpopular to the general public?

This movie is based on the story of fashion, particularly, boots, but it is not for girls but for a range of man.

Charlie Price has inherited his family business which is a shoe factory in Northampton. But the market is now interested in buying cheaper stuff from the former Soviet bloc. Charlie Price is letting his workers go. One of them, Linda Bassett, tells him to get up and fight. And an spiration hits him in the form of a spiked heel. He meets sassy drag queen performer Lola and sees the possible market of shoes for male transvestites. With the styling eye of Lola, Charlie leads the traditional shoe factory to design and produce numerous shoes for the catwalk in Milan, Italy. I believe that the story is unpopular to the general public.

3. Do yu think the movie has the makings of a classic? Prove your point.

I think that the movie has the makings of a classic. Actually, i've never seen this kind of stroy. When I saw this movie at first, I only had a question mark. "what is that?" However, I was gradually aborbed my self to the movie because it is different from other movies that i've seen like action, drama, horrer. It focuses not only on making boots but also the role of gender. It was new for me and gave me a chance to think creatively than before. So, I think it could be classic only not for me, for the general public.

It was an international #1 hit and caused huge controversy with its music vidoe depicting a pregnant young teenager mother. The song appeared remixed on the 1990 compilation album The Immaculate Collection.

"Papa Don't Preach" is sung from the perspective of a teenage girl who admits to her father that not only is she pregnant, but she plans to keep and raise the child. The single caused some controversy because of taboo subject matter. It was criticized by parents, conservative religious groups, and women's organizations because it seemed to glorify teenage pregnancy. The song aims to illustrate the real-life experience of young girls who fall in love.

This was one of madonna's greatest song in my opinon. It sent a messege that she has choosen her baby even if daddy stopped loving her. It supported Madonna that she decided to keep her unborn child rather than undergoing an abortion.

This song is the soundtrack of the movie, If only.

The artist is the main actress, Jeniffer Love Hewitt in this movie. I love not only this movie but also soundtrack because it shows me that we really have to love and take care of the persons that we love. It also shows me not only to love, but to appreciate each other. We need to appreciate every little things. Now, I love more my family and friends and willing to sacrifice everything for them. Because I know that they will show them everything and they do the same for me. So, i love the song.

Two Thumbs Up!!! The Song will surely show everything about love and its struggles to live the life of love. Always remind me of my past who unfortunately, did happened like in the movie "If Only", the guy whom should I spend the rest the rest of my life with, died in a tragic car accident last year.Wherever my angel id i knew he always there for me for love is like a wind, u cant see it but we can feel it

You’re the Voice is stuck in my head.
Apparently, I’m not alone in this situation as I caught both Mario and Kathleen singing to it during the IPR. The song itself has an infectious beat, with the woah’s and all – and unlike the current darlings of the radio these days (Bleeding Love, is that you?) it actually has lyrics that mean something (a fact that escapes some lyricists these days). Of course, I didn’t hear it from the radio — David Cook winning AI probably has something to do with it — but from an assignment in Pop Culture. I don’t regret hearing this song though, and I hope to hear more songs like it in the coming days.

4 Variations
The assignment called for a review of the 4 versions of the song You’re the Voice. I can’t actually differentiate Guy Sebastian’s and David Archuleta’s version very much … nor do I like them. My bias against David Archuleta might have something to do with this (David Cook, yeah!) but weighing all the versions together I really love John Farham’s the most. His voice just commands you to listen to him, and his music video is wow. True, Heart’s version (the music video, i mean) was also great but it seemed limited to the war effort. You’re the Voice is a classic, a song for the ages.

People were against the war because it was an illegal war.
No one wants war that destroys everything even someone’s life.
